Now that I've actually finished quite a few needlework projects, and therefore know that I can do it, I've thrown my Protestant work ethic out the window, and am stitching where the breeze blows me.
The Serenity Prayer has deep meaning for my husband and me and I especially love it in its entirety.
I'm stitching it on a wonderfully variegated warm antique almond Belfast using ecru DMC.
If I live that long, I'll finish some of my ongoing projects. In the meantime, I'm happily stitching whatever I like at the moment, rather than doggedly pursuing a goal. I'm running out of wall space anyway.
